setters. We have assisted military and law enforcement in many countries, such
as Columbia, Mexico, Germany and Venezuela. We do not use "primary" reward
systems. There are no ball launchers, pully systems with toys, sneaking the ball
in, or trying to fool the dog that the reward is coming from the source. Our
system is a highly developed system based on operant conditioning. Our dogs
do not leave the source or show alternate behaviors while indicating. Our dogs
are not concerned with where the "reward" is coming from. The is no conflict, so
the dog can focus on the job at hand. And yes, our dogs will "out" the toy without
corrections. We can teach either active or passive indications. Our dogs are
required to stare at the source, even under distractions. Our dogs do their jobs,
and they do it well. We have been told that defense attorneys hate our dogs.
